LITERARY TRANSLATION
I translate fiction, non-fiction and books for children and young adults, with particular attention to the author’s voice, rhythm, dialogue and natural-sounding Italian. My experience includes romance, historical fiction, thrillers, cozy mysteries, fantasy and picture books. For every project, I strive to strike the right balance between fidelity to the original and a smooth reading experience, while respecting the target audience and the publisher’s guidelines.
TRANSLATION AND LOCALIZATION
I translate and localize marketing content, e-commerce, websites, apps, training materials, manuals and technical data sheets. I also work on product pages, customer service communications and operating procedures. I adapt terminology, tone of voice and style to the Italian market, taking interface constraints and audience needs into account. I have experience in fashion and sportswear, technology, home appliances, hospitality, toys and gaming.
EDITING AND QUALITY ASSURANCE
I edit translations and Italian texts to improve accuracy, consistency, clarity and naturalness. Quality checks may include comparison with the source text, terminology verification, compliance with style guides, and the identification of errors, calques, inconsistencies and typos. I also carry out final pre-publication checks, both for individual pieces of content and for interconnected projects that are updated over time.
EXPERIENCE
For almost twenty years, I have worked with Italian and international agencies, companies and publishers on projects of varying scope, from one-off texts to structured, ongoing content. I work in accordance with style guides, glossaries and deadlines, maintaining consistency and accuracy even across large volumes.
Over the years, I have managed projects with different volumes, formats and deadlines, working with project managers, editors and other professionals. I use CAT tools, translation memories, glossaries and automated quality checks to ensure terminological consistency and coherence across related or regularly updated content.

- Specialist courses in literary translation, the publishing market and children’s publishing
- Specialist course in subtitling and dialogue adaptation for dubbing
